Cultural and Congress Centre Cankarjev dom is the largest and most well-known convention centre in Slovenia. Built in 1980 and situated in the heart of Ljubljana, Cankarjev dom stands in the vicinity of the attractive Old Town, within a walking distance of the city’s variety of hotels ranging from five-star to economical accommodation and just a step away from the impressive green area – the lungs of the city. With 20 multipurpose halls covering some 36,000 square metres and the maximum capacity of 2,000 delegates in the plenary hall, Cankarjev dom annually hosts over 250 national and international congresses and convention-related events. The venue also provides extensive exhibition space and is member of IAPCO and ICCA.
